Mark Johns

The question is never “Have you heard the work of session guitarist, composer, and performer Mark Johns?” The question is always “Where?” It could have been his album work or during tours with artists as varied as Jeff Beck, Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, Sting, Marianne Faithfull, Ray Davies from The Kinks, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Irene Cara, Desree, and both Daniel and Natasha Bedingfield. His musical compositions have graced noteworthy small screen productions like Absolutely Fabulous, Bottom, Monarch of the Glen, and French and Saunders. His notable big screen work includes timeless melodic contributions to Four Weddings and a Funeral, Best, and Gangsta No.1. In addition to guitar, Mark also plays the dobro, banjo, and mandolin.
