Jessica Dannheisser is a British composer known for her work in film, VR games, television, theatre and contemporary music. Jessica’s work includes writing music for a TV adaptation of Sue Townsend’s The Queen And I for Sky One and the BAFTA-winning Suffragettes With Lucy Worsley, plus projects for the History Channel and National Geographic. She has also scored Sky VR’s groundbreaking experience Hold The World featuring Sir David Attenborough in London’s Natural History Museum. Jessica has received several PRS funding awards for her work in theatre, which includes scores for an acclaimed reimagining of Shakespeare’s The Tempest at London’s Barbican Centre. As an arranger, Jessica has worked with artists from Bryan Ferry to Kasabian. She orchestrated and performed in Ilan Eshkeri’s Sadler’s Wells ballet score Narcissus and Echo and arranged and performed in The Cinematic Orchestra concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and Roundhouse. She has also orchestrated numerous film scores including Mica Levi’s Oscar-nominated, Ivor-Novello winning score for Jackie.
Jessica is known for her work in film, VR games, television – including projects for the BBC, Sky One, and National Geographic, theatre and working with artists from Bryan Ferry to Kasabian.
